Kimbolton Castle Rotary Club is the principle organiser of Kimbolton Country Fayre & Classic Car Show – now eastern England’s biggest annual gathering of classic cars. The 2026 Country Fayre is on Sunday 19 July, and we expect over 1,000 classic cars in addition to several thousand members of the puiblic.
We are centred on the historic market town of Kimbolton in the old county of Huntingdonshire. Our Rotary club comprises thirty or so men and women who come together in friendship with the objective of benefiting our community both locally and further afield.
We meet on Thursday evenings at three alternative venues, all of which serve excellent food in comfortable surroundings: The White Hart in Great Staughton, The Snooty Tavern also in Great Staughton and Grafham Water Sailing Club in Perry.

The pictures on Saturday 21 February 2026 show our Rotarians digging out then filling the pond which will become a haven for water-loving creatures and plants.

Success for three local youngsters:
In March 2026 three local young people became winners of our club’s Young Writer, Young Artist and Young Photgrapher competitions.
Our Young Writer was Alice Donahue, a year 5 student at Kimbolton Primary Academy, who wrote a wonderfully original fairy story featuring a very joyful duck.
The colourful painting below is by Aaron Ataman, a year 6 student, and the fantastic dog photo entry is by young Zak Mikulin

Another new member:

One of our newest members, Kimbolton pharmacist Sam Anigilaje was inducted into Kimbolton Castle Rotary club at our meeting on 18 September 2025. Sam is pictured alongside current club president Joy Hartigan.
Our annual Charter Dinners:

In addition to our fundraising activities Kimbolton Castle Rotary Club has a vibrant social life. A highlight of the Rotary year is our Charter Night Dinner, effectively the club’s ‘birthday party’. This picture show our Rotarians gathered for our 2023 Charter Night held at Grafham Water Sailing Club.

Our 2024 Charter Night was held in the state rooms of our spiritual home, Kimbolton Castle. Here, Maestro Mark on the left is giving our KCRC team directions for a lively and rousing percussion display!

For our 2025 Charter Night we moved to the wonderful function suite at Brampton Park Golf Club. The group pic on the clubhouse terrace shows then President Bryony in the centre.
The charter night is a rare opportunity to wear black tie or posh frocks. Otherwise our Rotary dress code is distinctly casual.
Burns Night:

The picture above shows our then President Eric slicing the haggis at a recent Burns Night dinner; note the piper standing by.
